The links below have quick and easy instructions on creating your district email signature that includes the GCISD logo. We ask that all users include their campus, position and phone extension so recipients know how to contact you and what your role is in the district.
Method 1 - Copy/Paste signature (This method currently has a bug that's causing it to return an error about the signature being too long or the graphics "break" or disappear. If you have any of these problems, please use Method 2 until Google corrects it.)
If you have any problems with the process and need assistance please submit a help ticket.
The standard confidentiality notice is automatically appended to all emails sent to an outside address so it is not necessary to add it to your signature.
Signature Best Practice:
If you create a signature other than what is recommended in the document above, visualize what it will look like in a long thread of emails where it will be included after each of your replies. Large signature graphics with multiple colors, graphics, and fonts can look unprofessional and distract from your intended message.
Please note that this is the basic information for a standard signature. Users will need to self-support if adding extras such as badges, social media links, etc.
