DUO is a cloud service that adds extra security to online accounts. It uses two steps to verify identity: a password and a trusted device. Even if someone steals your password, they can't log in without your device.
You'll set up DUO in your Classlink settings and on your personal cell phone or district issued iPad. It's easy and only takes a few minutes. IMPORTANT: You can only set up ONE mobile device for authentication and you'll need this device nearby any time you log in to district resources.

Set up Duo Two Factor Authentication
1. Download the Duo Mobile app on your Cell Phone or iPad.
- To download on a District iPad you will find the Duo Mobile in Meraki.
- Your device must meet the minimum OS versions below.
iOS - 12.0
Android - 8.0
2. Log in to Classlink on your computer.
3. Click Get Started button
4. Click on Duo Mobile. Do not select any other option, it will cause issues in the future.
5. Select if you would like to use a Cell Phone or iPad as a form of authentication.
- Cell Phone: Enter your phone number and click Continue
- iPad: Click on the I have a tablet link
- part 2 for Cell Phone: Verify that your cell number is correct then click Yes, it's correct button.
6. Click Next button since this part has been completed at step 1.
7. Go to the Duo Mobile app and click the Add button.
8. Select Use QR Code
9. On your Mobile Device scan the prompted QR Code
10. On your Mobile device click Save
11. On your computer click Continue
12. Click the I don't want to add more devices link
13. Click on Log in with Duo
14. On your Mobile device open the Duo App, and click the Approve button when prompted.
15. On the computer click Yes, this my device button
