Printing Your Students Classlink QuickCard
To make logging in easier for your PK-2 and SPED students, they can use a QuickCard (QR code) instead of typing a username and password. If your student is set up to use a QuickCard, you can easily print one from their ClassLink account.
You’ll need access to a desktop or laptop computer with a printer to complete the steps below.

1. Log into ClassLink
- Go to: http://classlink.gcisd.net
- Have your student enter their GCISD username and password
- if you are unsure please reach out to the student’s teacher or call the Technology Help Desk at 817-251-5629
2. Open Account Settings
- After logging in, click your student’s profile picture in the top right corner.
- Then click on "Settings" in the menu.
3. Access the QuickCard
- In the settings window, click the "Sign In" tab at the top.
- Under the QuickCard section, click the "Print" button.
4. Print or Save the QuickCard
- A new page will open showing your student’s QuickCard.
- Use your browser’s print option to print the page.
Tip: You can also take a picture of the QuickCard with your phone to keep a digital copy handy.
Using the QuickCard on an iPad
To log in using the QuickCard, follow these steps with your student:
- Open the ClassLink app on the iPad.
- On the login screen, tap the “QuickCard” button.
- The first time you use this feature, the app will ask for permission to access the iPad’s camera. Tap “Allow”.
Hold the QuickCard (QR code) in front of the camera. The student will be logged in automatically.
Troubleshooting:
- If you receive an error during login, try logging in manually once using the student’s username and password, then try the QuickCard again.
- If it still doesn’t work, please submit a Help Desk ticket or call the Technology Help Desk at 817-251-5629.
