I Forgot My Username or Password
- Staff: If you set up ClassLink Password Recovery, click "Help, I forgot my password" on the ClassLink login page to reset. Otherwise, call the Technology Help Desk at 817-251-5629.
- Students: Contact their teacher or librarian for password reset. If needed, the teacher can submit a Help Desk ticket for reset guidance from their campus technician.

How do I access all apps needed?
- Staff and students log into Classlink with their GCISD username and password. From here they are able to access most of the learning tools and apps needed.
- For apps like Canvas and Skyward:
- Log into Classlink.
- Click the app icon for automatic sign-in.
- Parents log in directly on the the application sites using their credentials.
- Note: Most of our applications are roster-based. If a staff member or student has recently enrolled in a course or had a change in enrollment, please allow up to 24 hours for the update to be reflected before reporting an issue.
I can't use my device and can’t Submit a Help Ticket
- Classlink is web-based and accessible from any internet-connected device.
- Staff, students, and parents can submit a Help Desk ticket even without their original device.
- To submit a ticket:
- Log into your GCISD Classlink account from another device.
- Click the Help Desk icon.
- Follow prompts to create a support ticket.
Purchased Laptop with Remote Management
- If your purchased laptop shows GCISD Remote Management, call the Help Desk at 817-251-5629.
Newline Board Account and Reset Help
- For Newline board setup or reset, submit a Help Desk ticket selecting:
- Login or Account Help
- Newline Account Assistance
Canvas Assistance for Staff
- Submit a Help Desk ticket and select Software or App Support.
- For issues, choose App/Software Report an Issue.
- For requests or help, select App/Software Assistance.
- Then choose Canvas.
I Need Printer Help
- Refer to the relevant Help Articles for printer support.
Previous Employees and Seniors Needing Access
- Former students and employees lose account access after their last day.
Getting Prompted for a Bypass Code
- Bypass codes are not provided.
- If prompted, contact the Help Desk at 817-251-5629.
Connecting My Phone to Wi-Fi
- Staff can connect to GCISD-PHONE Wi-Fi at all Secondary campuses and the Administration Building.
- Follow the steps in the Wi-Fi connection article for help.
- Elementary Staff can use the GCISD-GUEST Wi-Fi.
