You will find instructions to set up your docking station and monitors below. As well as troubleshooting tips.
Step 1: Identify All Parts
- 3 Dell 24" displays
- 1 HDMI cable
- 2 Displayport cables
- 1 Apple USB-C to Digital AV multiport adapter
- USB-C Triple 4K Monitor docking station
- 1 Wireless keyboard
- 1 Wireless mouse
- 1 Logitech webcam
- 1 Plantronics bluetooth headset
Step 2: Connect Docking station
- Connect power to docking station
- Connect the USB-C cord to computer's left side
Step 3: Unbox & Connect Three Displays (Dell P2417H)
- Displayport cables will be used total 2 and 1 HDMI cables packaged separately
- Connect the arm of display to the base and tighten with hand screw to secure
- Attach the arm to back of the display by inserting the top brackets first (listen for a “click” to ensure proper connection)
- Display 1
- Connect power cable and HDMI cable to monitor
- Connect the HDMI cable to docking station
- Turn on the power to display
- Set Monitor input setting to HDMI (on the monitor itself)
- Display 2
- Connect power cable and Displayport cable to monitor
- Connect the Displayport cable to docking station
- Turn on the power to display
- Set Monitor input setting to DP or Displayport (on the monitor itself)
- Display 3
- Connect power cable and Displayport cable to monitor
- Connect the Displayport cable to docking station
- Turn on power to display
- Set Monitor input setting to DP or Displayport (on the monitor itself)
Step 4: Unbox & Connect the wireless mouse & keyboard
- Connect the USB nano receivers to docking station
- Place the batteries in the mouse
- Turn both the mouse and keyboard switches to “On”
Step 5: Unbox & Connect the Webcam (Logitech C920)
- Connect the USB cable to docking station
Step 6: Unbox & Connect the Wireless Headset (Plantronics 5200 UC)
- Connect one the USB receiver to docking station
- Connect the USB cord to charge your headset to docking station
Step 7: Download Compatibility software for docking
- Go into the GCISD App Store
- Navigate to the Log In at the bottom left hand corner
- Sign in using your GCISD Credentials
- Go to the search bar at the top left hand side and type in Display
- Click Install to install the Display Link Manager
- The screen recording box will pop-up. Click Open System Preferences
- Check box the DisplayLink Manager to enable sharing
- On the pop up click Quit & Reopen
- Check the box DisplayLink Manager. Next click on the Padlock again and close the window.
- You will see this image pop up at the top of your screen. This means you are good to go!
EXTRA: If you are needing additional USB ports an Anker 4-port USB-C 3.0 hub is available that will also connect to the docking station or Mac.

Configure your monitor Setup
- You will likely need to tell your mac where each screen is so that you can easily mouse between screens. To do this click on the apple icon in the top left corner of your screen and select “system preferences:
- Then click the displays icon. Mine is on the last row.
- Drag the monitors around until they are set up to your liking!
Troubleshooting Monitors:
2 monitors are not showing
This happens all the time. Navigate to your apps and find “Display Link Manager” Double click and it will activate your docking station and get the other 2 monitors working.
Only 2 monitors showing:
If you are having issues with displaying all three monitors. Disconnect the HDMI connected monitor and connect to your Apple USB-C Digital Multiport Adapter (image below) to your Macbook.This should resolve the issue. If you do not have this adapter please submit a ticket requesting one.
